2024 Events

A spooktacular time was had by all at this year's event. Food, games, live music, and trick-or-treating!

Prost! Another Oktoberfest for the books. This year we had dancers and a stein holding contest in addition to our traditional chili cook-off!

This summer residents donned their aloha shirts and enjoyed an evening complete with Tiki drinks, hula show, shave ice, and even a roasted pig!

Not only did we have the SAFD lead this year's parade, we also had the SAHS Drum line close out the parade with their awesome music. Go Saints!

Our annual Flamingo Bingo was hit! With over 90 neighbors in attendance, the evening was packed with good fun, good fun, and good friends.

A little morning rain didn't dampen our good time at the first event of 2024. Six delicious wines and fresh fired-cooked pizza. What more could you want?

The weather outside was anything but frightful as we gathered for our delightful final event of the year. A Fiesta de Navidad complete with live music, Ponche, and tamales!

Halloween came early to the neighborhood with trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, kettle corn, and games for everyone!

Prost! Another fun Oktoberfest was held this year with German beer, brats, and our annual chili cook-off!

Neighbors gathered at the end of the summer for a Circus Themed bingo night that raised over $1,000 for Santa Ana non-profit, Broadway on Tour

This year we traveled around the world and tasted cuisines at three different houses. So much fun at the yearly summer event!

Neighbors gathered to kick off the summer with our annual Flamingo Bingo event. Good food and fun were had by all!

The Easter Bunny made a visit to WFP the day before Easter. Neighborhood kids got to hunt for eggs and even got to make a fun Easter themed craft!

Una bella notte in West Floral Park! Our Italian Wine Night was a hit. With over 70 neighbors in attendance, delicious food and wine were enjoyed by all who gathered in abbondanza!

A little rain didn't dampen the Irish spirit at our annual St. Patty's Day event for the neighborhood families!

Aloha! This year we traveled to the south pacific at our annual holiday party, complete with roasted pic, tiki drinks, and hula dancers!

B, I, N, G, O, and fun was her name-o! Residents had a blast at our second annual Flamingo Bingo event in June

Our first social event of the year was a huge hit! We sampled delicious wines and spent the evening enjoying one of the most beautiful backyards in the neighborhood.

The Easter Bunny made an appearance in April. We also had 

a egg hunt, Easter craft, and 

cotton candy to boot!

A first-time event, kids had a blast decorating a St. Patrick's Day themed craft while parents enjoyed coffee.

A little rain didn't keep us from celebrating. Neighbors gathered to look at holiday lights while enjoying a free churro and hot cocoa or  coffee.

After two years, we finally were able to gather for our yearly holiday party. We had carolers, string players, delicious food, and of course each others good company. 

Our first official social event post-pandemic was a blast. We gathered at Jack Fisher Park for good BBQ and fellowship. 

After many months, we were once again able to safely gather with new neighbors. It was wonderful to meet so many new families that now call West Floral Park their home

Neighbors once again gathered for coffee and sweets at Hidden House Roasters in Downtown Santa Ana.

After a long hiatus our ever-popular garden swap event returned this year. Neighbors gathered to swap garden bounty and enjoy each other's good company!

Our 4th of July parade was back this year! Neighbors of all ages (and even some 4-legged friends) paraded through the streets of WFP.

On April 24th our neighbors once again cleaned out garages and kicked off their spring cleaning with our annual dumpster day.

This year we combined an old WFP tradition of a lighting contest and integrated it with our new tradition of a visit from the Kringles.

Since we could not hold our annual 4th of July parade this year, Donna and Allen Layne hosted a socially distanced concert on their front lawn this year for all to enjoy.

Delayed by COVID-19, our annual neighborhood cleanup day was still a success thanks to our three homes that hosted city dumpsters.

Our final event for 2019! Neighbors stopped by Westwood Avenue to visit Mr. & Mrs. Claus. We even has some four-legged friends visit Santa.

Our annual Christmas party is always a great event. In addition to the fantastic party, we donate to the Adopt-A-Family program.

Grab a bratwurst and throw back a beer (or two), Oktoberfest is always a favorite in the neighborhood!

This year's theme was "Jazz on the Green." We enjoyed music from a local jazz trio and had a blast!

Always a favorite, Progressive Dinner is held at two different homes in the neighborhood. This year, the food was potluck and everyone had a blast!

A crowd of kids on bikes, adults on golf carts, and dogs on leashes, paraded through the streets of WFP led by Allen Layne's patriotic truck.

A brand new event for 2019! Neighbors gathered to play ten exciting rounds of bingo after enjoying a delicious potluck meal.

For the seasoned residents of our neighborhood, the Garden Tea Party is always a lovely way to spend an afternoon and catch up with friends.

Neighbors gathered for coffee at Hidden House. The association provided the coffee, the neighbors provided the good company!

Our quarterly Garden Swap events have become a favorite among the neighborhood. 

In an effort to maintain the beauty of our neighborhood, Dumpster Day is always a great time to de-clutter and de-junk our homes.

Our kickoff event of 2019, Wine Night is always a favorite. This year our wine tasting was accompanied by delicious Mediterranean food.
